Chisel & Point Crowbar 6ft x 1 1/4″

A versatile and robust tool used in various construction, demolition, and landscaping tasks. Here’s an overview of its features and typical uses:

Construction: The crowbar is typically made of high-quality steel or iron to withstand heavy-duty use. It is forged or heat-treated to enhance its strength, durability, and resistance to bending or breaking during demanding tasks.

Chisel and Point Ends: One end of the crowbar features a chisel-shaped tip, while the other end has a pointed tip. These dual ends provide versatility for different applications. The chisel end is useful for prying, lifting, and splitting materials, while the pointed end is effective for digging, breaking up soil or concrete, and piercing through tough surfaces.

Length and Diameter: The crowbar measures 6 feet (approximately 183 centimeters) in length, providing sufficient leverage and reach for various tasks. The diameter of the crowbar is 1 1/4 inches (approximately 3.175 centimeters), offering a balance between strength and maneuverability.

Versatile Applications: A chisel and point crowbar is commonly used in construction and demolition projects for tasks such as removing nails, prying apart wooden boards or concrete slabs, breaking up rocks or concrete, digging trenches, and lifting heavy objects. It is also useful in landscaping projects for tasks like digging holes, removing tree roots, and shaping soil or gravel.

Heavy-Duty Design: The crowbar is designed to withstand heavy loads and repeated impacts without bending or deforming. Its sturdy construction and ergonomic design make it suitable for professional contractors, builders, landscapers, and DIY enthusiasts who require reliable tools for demanding tasks.

Comfortable Grip: Some crowbars feature a textured or contoured handle for a comfortable and secure grip during use. This ergonomic handle design helps reduce hand fatigue and provides better control and leverage when applying force.

Storage and Maintenance: When not in use, the crowbar should be stored in a dry, clean environment to prevent rust or corrosion. Periodically inspect the crowbar for signs of wear, such as bent or damaged tips, and replace it if necessary. Lubricate the crowbar’s moving parts, such as the hinge or pivot points, to ensure smooth operation.

Overall, a chisel and point crowbar is a versatile and essential tool for a wide range of construction, demolition, and landscaping tasks, offering durability, strength, and reliable performance in demanding work environments.

I was let down by several companies when overhauling my garden this year so when I came to arranging the new lawn I was very concerned in case I had another bad contractor but.. I have to say Andrew and the team did an amazing job of supplying and installing a huge amount of soil for my lawn and embankment as well as laying around 220 square meters of good quality lawn. On top of that he sorted my gravel out as well, amazing service, great friendly team, good fair prices and did exactly what he said he would do. Aftercare is also top notch. Thanks to all the team at South Wales Turf & Topsoil
