We aim to keep our material cost down but unfortunately we have to charge for delivery. Delivery charges start from £15 but are dependent on load/ quantity and delivery area. Please ring for advice.
This will depend on what you want to order but generally 2-3 days. However, a next day delivery is sometimes possible during quieter periods.
Our Office opening hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4pm, however deliveries may be made anytime from 7.00am up until 5pm (typically), but if required we are able to provide an approximate guide time. We deliver Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). The driver will contact you by telephone on the delivery day to give a more accurate time slot.
It is best if you are at home to accept the delivery, however we are able to deliver if you are not present in this instance the driver will determine the most appropriate positioning for your goods. With unattended deliveries, South Wales Turf and Topsoil Ltd cannot accept any liability for theft, product deterioration or consequences arising from the positioning of your delivery.
Kerbside delivery means that the delivery will be placed as close to your property as possible, as deemed safe by the driver.
To avoid damage to your property by heavy vehicles, delivery is always best to kerbside only, however our driver will try to accommodate our customers’ needs where possible.
We deliver turf and bulk bags by crane, these trucks can only operate on a flat, level, concreted, or similar firm surface. They cannot operate on slopes, gravel, earth, grass or any other type of non-solid surface. Delivery is possible over hedge/ fence if felt safe to do so by our driver. We will NOT under any circumstance offload our products over parked vehicles.
If your order is for turf only then this can also be delivered on a smaller vehicle and your turf will be handballed off by the driver to the kerbside.
If you require your soil loose then we are also able to accommodate this using our lorry for large loads and our transit tipper for small loads
This would depend on vehicular access to the back garden and would be down to the driver’s discretion on the day. This type of delivery would still be kerbside, delivery is possible over hedge/ fence if felt safe to do so by our driver.
